Garlic Lovers Tomato Tart πŸ§„πŸ…βœ¨

Serves: 4 | Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 20-25 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
  • 1–2 tsp Gourmet Inspirations Garlic Lovers seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large tomato (sliced and halved)
  • Fresh thyme (a few sprigs)
  • ΒΌ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Balsamic glaze (for drizzling)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

  2. Prepare pastry:

    • Cut the puff pastry into 4 equal squares.

    • Fold over the edges slightly and press down the center with a fork to create a border.

    • Place on a greased parchment-lined baking sheet.

  3. First bake:

    • Bake the pastry squares for about 10–12 minutes, or until nearly fully cooked and lightly golden.

  4. Add toppings:

    • Arrange halved tomato slices on each pastry square.

    • Sprinkle with Garlic Lovers seasoning, fresh thyme, and grated Parmesan.

  5. Final bake:

    • Return to the oven and bake for another 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and pastry is golden brown.

  6. Cool and serve:

    • Let the tarts cool for 5 minutes.

    • Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
