🥓 Caramelized Bacon & Walnut Topping

½ container feta cheese

½ cup cream cheese, softened

Juice of 1 lemon

4 strips bacon, diced

Handful of walnuts, chopped

2 tbsp Gourmet Inspirations Canadian Maple Bourbon BBQ Sauce

Sprinkle of Gourmet Inspirations Garlic Lovers Seasoning

Splash of maple syrup

Sprinkle of brown sugar

Splash of red wine vinegar

Fresh thyme, for garnish
Instructions

In a bowl, combine feta, cream cheese, and lemon juice. Whisk until light, creamy, and fluffy. Add a sprinkle of Garlic Lovers Seasoning and mix to combine.

In a lightly oiled frying pan over medium heat, cook the diced bacon for 2–3 minutes.

Add chopped walnuts and cook another 2 minutes, stirring often.

Stir in the maple syrup, red wine vinegar, Canadian Maple Bourbon BBQ Sauce, and brown sugar. Continue to cook until the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes glossy and caramelized (about 5 minutes).

Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Spoon over whipped feta mixture and garnish with fresh thyme.
Serving Suggestion: Use as a topping for crostini, egg cups, or roasted vegetables.
