Salted Caramel Whiskey Apple French Toast

6–8 slices bread of choice (brioche, challah, or sourdough work great)

2 apples, sliced

¼ cup brown sugar

Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, icing sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.

Dip each slice of bread into the mixture, coating both sides.

Cook in a lightly buttered skillet over medium heat until golden on both sides (2–3 minutes per side).

For the caramelized apple topping, sauté apple slices in a pan over medium-high heat until tender.

Add brown sugar and continue to cook until apples are golden and syrupy.

Stir in Salted Caramel Whiskey Sauce and cook for another 1–2 minutes.
