Smoke & Spice Steak Bites with Creamy Peppercorn Whisky Sauce šŸ„©šŸ“āœØ

Serves: 3-4| Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 15-20 minutes |Total Time: 30-35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 lbĀ New York steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbspĀ Gourmet Inspirations Smoke & Spice Rub
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cupĀ Gourmet Inspirations Creamy Peppercorn Whisky Steak Sauce
  • 1 cupĀ button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 largeĀ onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbspĀ olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the steak:
    In a bowl, combine the steak bites with Smoke & Spice Rub, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Let sit for 10–15 minutes while you prep the vegetables.

  2. Cook the steak bites:
    Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak bites for 2–4 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  3. SautƩ mushrooms and onions:
    In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed and sautĆ© the mushrooms and onions over medium heat. Cook until golden brown and tender, about 7–10 minutes.

  4. Add the sauce:
    Lower the heat and stir in the Creamy Peppercorn Whisky Sauce. Mix gently until everything is evenly coated and heated through.

  5. Serve:
    Plate the steak bites and top with the creamy mushroom and onion sauce. Serve hot and enjoy!
